Regional Alliance of Creative Industries. New INTERREG EUROPE project implemented by ADR Nord-Vest

RCIAToday, May 18, 2017, the first meeting of the Regional Committee of Representatives established within the project Regional Alliance for Creative Industries (Regional
Creative Industries Alliance - RCIA), which currently brings together 30 organizations, companies and associations with activity and involvement in the cultural and creative industries, such as: the Cluj Cultural Center Association, 18485447_1330686693716494_8638570190619030893_nMaramureş and Satu Mare County Councils, Pro Maramureş Association, Transilvania Creative Industries Cluster, Cluj IT Cluster, iTech Transilvania Cluster, Cluj Innovation Park, Romanian Order of Architects Transilvania branch, creative hubs, chambers of commerce, universities.

This first meeting is very important for creating the partnership framework necessary for the project. The member organizations will contribute with their own expertise to the development of the Regional Action Plan for the cultural and creative industries sector, providing information on the state of affairs, needs and challenges in the sector.

ADR Nord-Vest is a partner in the Regional Creative Industries Alliance (RCIA) project, financed by the European Territorial Cooperation Program INTERREG Europe. The project will take place between January 1, 2017 and December 31, 2021. The total value of the project is almost 1.9 million Euros, and the ADR Nord-Vest financing is 150,000 Euros. The project consortium consists of: Austria Wirtschaftsservice Gesellschaft – AWS, national financial body (Coordinator), the Public Administration of the Wallonia Region in Belgium, Creative Business Cup in Denmark, the North-West Regional Development Agency in Romania, the Central Region of Greece, the Institution of financial development Altum from Latvia, Public Agency for Innovation, Development and Marketing IDM South Tyrol from Italy, Lublin City Hall from Poland, Chamber of Commerce and Industry from Barcelona, Spain.
