The contract related to the project "Research, design and development of ecological electric vehicles made of advanced composite materials, equipped with photovoltaic panels and the creation of an assembly line to obtain the final product" was signed, Beneficiary: Belco Avia SRL, SMIS code 136062.
The project is financed through ROP 2014-2020, Priority Axis 1: Promotion of technology transfer, Investment Priority 1.1 – Promotion of investments in R&I, development of links and synergies between enterprises, research and development centers and higher education, especially promotion of investments in development of products and services, technology transfer, social innovation, eco-innovation and public service applications, demand stimulation, networking and clustering and open innovation through smart specialization, as well as supporting technological and applied research activities, pilot lines, early product validation actions, advanced and early production capabilities, especially in the field of essential generic technologies and the diffusion of general purpose technologies, Operation 1.2 – Increasing innovation in companies by supporting multi-sector approaches resulting from the implementation of the "more region initiative little developed" in Romania.
The project implementation period is 48 months, respectively between 01.01.2020 and 31.12.2023.
The total value of the project is 86,278,881.30 lei, of which the non-refundable financial support from the European Regional Development Fund is 39,947,394.91 lei.
The North-West and North-East regions are pilot regions within the Project "Support for the intelligent specialization of less developed regions"/"RIS3 Support for Lagging Regions", carried out by DG REGIO and implemented by the Joint Research Center of the European Commission (JRC ), within the Preparatory Actions AP1 ("Support for economic growth and governance in less developed European regions") and AP2 ("Competitive advantages and the potential for smart specialization at the regional level in Romania") of the European Parliament, in the period 2016- 2017.
Through these complex projects that approach the value chain of innovation in an integrated manner (through the proposed research-development-valorization activities), a better valorization on the market of the results of the research-development-innovation activity is ensured, the alignment with the community trends of development and solving some societal challenges.
