Today, in the Union Hall in Alba Iulia, the signing of the Partnership Agreement between the European Commission and Romania takes place.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Based on this agreement, our country will benefit in the period 2021-2027 from financial resources for sustainable development, allocated from the European and national level, in a total amount of more than 45 billion euros.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The official document will be signed by Mrs. Elisa Ferreira, European Commissioner for Cohesion and Reforms and Mr. Marcel Ioan Bolo\u0219, Minister of Investments and European Projects, in the presence of the Romanian Prime Minister, Nicolae-Ionel Ciuc\u0103.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Partnership Agreement between the European Commission and Romania covers the financing of the cohesion policy \u2013 which includes the European Regional Development Fund, the European Social Fund Plus and the Cohesion Fund \u2013 alongside the Just Transition Fund and the European Maritime, Fisheries and Aquaculture Fund. Concrete investments in the territory target 8 regional programs and 9 national programs, the non-reimbursable financial allocation being over 31.5 billion euros.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Partnership Agreement emphasizes the importance of the green and digital transition in all aspects of economic and social life, including supporting the development of the Romanian economy on a competitive, innovative and export-oriented basis.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Through this document, it is guaranteed that the public resources allocated by the European Union will contribute to the development of innovation, to the implementation of high-performing medical and social services, to the provision of the best opportunities for education and training, but also to the creation of a safe transport system and ecological, all this ensuring the increase of the competitiveness of our country and the quality of life of all citizens.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
