The 3rd edition of "Maramure\u015f Days" - an event organized by the Maramure\u015f County Council - will take place between 18-23 May 2017. The event aims to capitalize and promote the cultural identity of Maramure\u015f, its material and spiritual values, through a series of actions carried out both in Baia Mare and in several localities in the county. All the cultural institutions subordinated to the Maramure\u015f County Council will be engaged in the manifestation, by organizing exhibitions and openings, symposia and seminars, the program being a broad and diversified one.<\/p>\n

\nThe County Museum of Mineralogy "Victor Gorduza" Baia Mare will present, under the aegis of "Donations and recent mineral acquisitions", the new showcases with mine flowers, opening that will take place from 13.00.
\nFrom 2:00 p.m., at the "Petre Dulfu" County Library, photographer Victor Mihalca invites you to "Step through Maramure\u0219", and from 3:00 p.m., the photo opening "Small houses from Maramure\u0219" by the photographer Mihai Grigorescu from Baim\u0103ra will take place here. \nOn Friday, May 19, from 9:00 a.m., the 3rd edition of the national scientific symposium "National Heritage of Romania" will be held at the County Museum of Mineralogy.
\nBetween 10.00 and 20.00 there will be fairs, festivals and exhibitions of traditional products, interactive craft workshops.
\nThe festive meeting of the Maramure\u0219 County Council will take place at 10:30 a.m., in the "Bogdan Vod\u0103" Hall, after which, from 12:00 p.m., the Popular Harbor Parade will take place.
\nThe official opening of the "Maramure\u0219 Days - Come on, let's go to Maramure\u0219" event was set for 1:00 p.m., at the County Museum of Ethnography and Folk Art. Also here, starting at 14:00, "Game in the village" will take place, as well as the launch of the book "Academic elite in the political prison of Sighet: 1950-1955".
\nFrom 4:00 p.m., the "Visit Maramure\u0219" application will be presented, as well as the vision of the Maramure\u0219 County Council regarding the tourism development strategy of the county.
\nStarting at 19.00 there will be a visit to the \u0218uior mountain resort, Cota 1000, followed by a traditional dinner and a bonfire in the open air.<\/p>\n
\nOn Saturday, May 20, in addition to fairs, festivals and exhibitions, the exhibition opening "Ethnic interference in the traditional port of Maramure\u0219" will take place at the County Museum of Ethnography and Folk Art, followed, from 12.00, by the scientific symposium with the theme "National Day of Traditional Costume from Romania", 2nd edition.
\nAt 11:00 a.m., the football match between the teams of Glorii Maramuresene and Glorii S\u0103tm\u0103rene will begin at the "Viorel Mateianu" Municipal Stadium.
