The North-West Regional Development Agency organizes a second series of county conferences of this year concerning “Stage of Regional Operational Programme implementation in Northern Transylvania” which is planned to be conducted in the period ranging from September 14th – 28th 2010.
At the county conferences, the representatives of the intermediate body for POS Environment and of the National Centre for Professional and Technical Education Development, the North-West Regional Office shall also hold presentations.
The beneficiaries of the Regional Operational Programme, that is people showing an interest in it as well as mass-media in the Northern Transylvania are invited to take part in county conferences conducted by the North-West RDA in each county of the Region according to the following schedule:
• September 14th , Cluj-Napoca, the registered office of North-West RDA, no. 2, Sextil Puscariu street
• September 16th, Bistrita, Bistrita Hotel, no. 2 Petru Rares street;
• September 21st , Oradea, Ramada Hotel, no. 9 Calea Aradului
• September 22nd – Zalau, Porolissum Hotel, no. 1 Unirii Str.
• September 24th - Satu Mare, Astoria Hotel, no. 1 M. Kogalniceanu str.
• September 28th – Baia Mare, Carpati Hotel, no. 16, Minerva street
In each county, conference shall be preceded by a working session intended for beneficiaries during which there shall be presented technical aspects of project implementation, therefore event programme is as follows:
• 11,00-12,00: work session with the beneficiaries of the Regional Operational Programme
• 12,00-13,30: county work conference
• 13,30-14,00: press briefing

The company SC ROMCOM INVEST SRL of Oradea is the beneficiary of the most recent financing contract through the Regional Operational Programme in Northern Transylvania.
It is about the project “ROMCOM Business Centre – support structure for small and medium-sized companies and entrepreneurial initiatives in Bihor County” with a total value of RON 6,622,455.02, while non-refundable financing granted is of RON 3,136,111.30.

In the last days, other 7 contracts for financing for microenterprise development have been signed in Northern Transylvania through the Regional Operational Programme, major intervention domain 4.3. “Support for micro-enterprise development”.
Up to this moment, 10 micro-enterprises have received financing through the domain 4.3. within the session 2009 – 2010 for the projects to be submitted, as the first 3 projects have been signed in the month of October of this year.
The total non-refundable amount received by all these 10 micro-enterprises is RON 5,209,515.05. All projects could be viewed on the interactive map for projects which are being implemented here.

Tomorrow, October 28th 2010, there shall be held the first Regional Conference of REGIO Communicators – Northern Transylvania at Cluj-Napoca, starting from 9:30 o’clock.
The event will take place at Golden Tulip Ana Dome Hotel, www.goldentulipcluj.ro . You shall find event agenda enclosed below.
From the part of the ROP Managing Authority there took part Mrs. Director Adina Stefanescu, Programme Managing Director, the Ministry of Regional Development and Tourism.
The conference shall be transcribed in real time through participants’ images and quotations on
Facebook and Twitter.
At this moment, the Northern Transylvania network comprises 193 individuals, the representatives of local public authorities, of mass-media and of private environment, of universities etc.

Upon the suspension of domain 4.3. Support for micro-enterprises there were submitted at the registered office of the Northwest Regional Development Agency, projects applying for non-refundable financing of 327% as compared to the regional allocation for this call for projects.
Therefore, as compared to this regional allocation for this call for projects which is 19.74 million euros for the period 2009-2013, submitted projects applied for a non-refundable financing of 64.45 million Euros.
Totally, there have been submitted 619 projects out of which 124 have been rejected or withdrawn. Two projects have already been contracted of a total value of 506,937.99 euros, with a non-refundable financing of 345,616.85 euros.

The first financing contract for the domain 4.3. “Support for micro-enterprise development”, the second call for projects was signed today in Northern Transylvania.
Project title is “Implementation of non-invasive and non-polluting geotechnical investigation technologies in the activity of SC CAS Proiect SRL", while the applicant is SC CAS Proiect SRL of Cluj-Napoca.
Project total value amounts to RON 1,391,338.24, out of which non-refundable assistance applied for is RON 853,080.
The project is intended for the acquisition of technological equipments and plants related to drilling and boring activities for constructions as well as IT equipments and software.
During the second call for projects for Domain 4.3. , there have been submitted 492 projects and financing contracts are to be signed as soon as possible for other 12 projects.

The Managing Authority of the Regional Operational Programme announces that starting from September 15th 2010, the visual Identity Manual for ROP, 3rd edition, September 2010 shall enter into force.
The Visual Identity Manual, the 2nd edition shall stay valid for financing contracts which were signed before September 15th 2010 and could be consulted on this site, at Information for Beneficiaries.
Soon, in the same section, there will be posted the Manual, the 3rd edition, Corel Draw format as well as sample materials to be used by beneficiaries.
The REGIO Visual Identity Manual, the 3rd edition can be downloaded in the Romanian version.

The Managing Authority of the Regional Operational Programme published this day of September 3rd 2010, Corrigendum no. 4 to the Financing Guide for the major intervention domain 3.3 - “Improvement of equipments of operational bases for interventions in emergency situations”.
One of the news is the increase of project total value up to RON 52,500,000.
