Services for Regional Development

The North-West Regional Development Agency takes the responsibility for suporting the development efforts of local communities in Northern Transylvania, for coordinating the strategic planning process at a regional level. The Agency offers services for development in the North-West Region, dedicated to the local and county actors through a large partnership, by initiating strategic projects, by elaborating programming documentation that reflects the priorities and the specific problems of the region, by encouraging and multiplying the initiatives that have an impact on the social and economic development of the area. The strategic planning abilities of the North-West RDA are capitalised through efficient partnerships for increasing the involvement of the members of the communities in Northern Transylvania in the management of their own development.
The proof of our common efforts is the Common declaration regarding the development policy of the North-West Region, the large strategic planning process for the programming period 2007-2013, finalized with the elaboration of the Regional Development Plan of the North-West Region 2007-2013, the project Partnership for Development that marked the extension of the strategic planning at a county level, and also the elaboration of Regional Documentation for Sectoral Programming, an unique measure that insisted on the key elements and on the regional priorities regarding the Increase of Competitiveness of the Regional Economy and Tourism, Human Resources Development, of Transportation and Environmental Infrastructure.
We will continue to offer services for development as useful as possible for our beneficiaries, for the communities in the Region, since involvement and solidarity are very important principles in fulfilling our mission of support of sustainable development in Northern Transylvania.
