Growth Pole Coordinator Office of Cluj-Napoca

North-West (RDA) Regional Development Agency signed in september 2010  the financing contract “Support to the coordination for the implementation of the Integrated Development Plan for Cluj-Napoca Growth Pole”. Financing contract is compliant with the three-party agreement no. 6571 of August 20th 2009 concluded between the Ministry of Regional Development and Tourism, Ministry of Public Finance and North-West RDA based on the Governmental Decision 1513 / 2008 and Governmental Decision 998/ 2008, as these are the documents by means of which they established the premises of interinstitutional cooperation concerning the selection and the activity of Cluj Growth Pole coordinator.
The project is intended to support the coordination of preparation and implementation of urban development integrated plan (PIDU) pertaining to Cluj-Napoca national growth pole by supporting the activity of pole coordinator (which carries out the activity within the North West RDA) and its supporting staff.
Here are some of the tasks of pole coordinator which we would like to mention: support for PIDU drawing up and implementation, supports, through the proposals concerning the recruitment of a short-term expertise, the process for the implementation of PIDU and to its related projects, participates in monitoring the compliance with project implementation schedule and the compliance with the indicators which have been established in PIDU, contributes to the promotion and information campaign referring to growth pole, ensuring the transparency and the visibility of activities financed within the pole etc. The actions financed through this project are as follows: ensure remuneration and provide with some logistic conditions corresponding to carrying out the activity of pole coordinator and of its supporting staff, draw up some regular reports, recruit technical expertise and short-term specialized consulting (technical financial, legal etc.), organization of events and meetings, vocational training and instruction, participation of the coordinator of growth pole and of personnel at the invitation of some similar bodies in the European Union, to various events / work sessions / meetings / actions of experience exchange, project external audit.
The duration of financing contract is 36 months. Contract total value is RON 2,722,300.20, a financing totally ensured through the European Fund for Regional Development and governmental funds.
