The Agency’s mission

The North-West Regional Development Agency, executive body of the Regional Development Board, through its strategic planning abilities, is the driving force of sustainable development in the region.
The Agency sustains the development and the development interests of the local communities, being the bridge between them, the national authorities and the relevant European institutions.
The Agency follows the implementation of economic and social cohesion policies in the region, it promotes and implements development programmes and guarantees the necessary services to the communities and to the investors for maximizing the economic and social benefits in the region.
